With the new Warlords model, the new "Normal" (previously "Flex") and new "Heroic" (previously "Normal") will not share a lockout with Mythic. Although "Heroic" does not require a clear of "Normal" to unlock, "Mythic" will require a clear of "Normal"/"Heroic" to unlock (when it becomes available a week or so after "Normal" and "Heroic" are released).

Since the Blizzard change, both will be stored, and displayed separately by the addon. This is what causes the display of two entries for each LFR lockout, one as part of the regular raid lockout (labeled "Throne of Thunder"), and the other from the special LFR handling code (labeled "LFR: Throne of Thunder").

If it's too much "pressure", then that's pressure you're putting on yourself. If the demands of your guild are too high, then find a less-demanding guild. Loot-based Lockout You can kill a boss as many times per week as you like, but only loot once per difficulty: once in LFR, once in Normal, and once in Heroic. Applies to all raid bosses of the following expansions: Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, and Shadowlands, as well as Siege of Orgrimmar of Mists of Pandaria. Yes, I'm saying the game isn't set up so that you'll fail in normal/Heroic raids, if you're not running LFR every lockout as well.

Hi!, so i’ve been running every raid on this character to see how much old Raids gives!, that has Legacy Loot so from Wrath of the Lich King - Warlords of Draenor!. by Purely getting the Gold from the Bosses and selling all the Loot!. Also New Player Friendly that looks for a easy way to make Guarrenteed Gold! As Classic and BC Gives barely any loot, so im not counting these in this Thread LFR during Dragon Soul originally did have a “need / greed” system, the problem was you had people who intentionally “needed” an item even though they themselves didn’t need (as in a gear upgrade) it for a few reasons. Because LFR/badge gear/WQ loot isn’t and never was about experiencing anything.

You can do flex, lfr and either normal or heroic. You can't do both normal and heroic they share a lockout. (You can switch normal and heroic as you progress but can only do a boss one time per week)

We have seen a lot of assumptions about how raid content will be run in Mists of Pandaria, and we find that many of these assumptions are based off of only one tier in C Basically I just set it to ignore difficulty17, which is LFR. This keeps the SI window from showing the LFR lockout on the raid's main line but keeps it on the LFR line. Not ideal, because the addon is still storing the LFR lockout twice, just only using it once.

Legion and Battle for Azeroth Mythic raids use the Strict Instance-based Lockout . Raid lockouts limit the number of times a character can kill a boss in a week for a chance at obtaining loot from that boss. Note that this does not retroactively fix the issue, only prospectively. In other words, if you do it with a guild or static, you'll need to PUG it all over again on Normal/Heroic/Mythic to have a shot at loot you already earned.

If they really want to keep hardcore raiders from "being forced" to run LFR then they should make it share a lockout with Normal and Heroic modes. Sure those people will still feel obligated for a week or two but then they're gonna stay away from it in favor of something better.

All the information i find is vague, some people say you have the chance of dropping Drops only in Normal / Heroic / Mythic, NOT LFR; Once you kill Dark Shaman on any of those three difficulties, you cannot get a chance at a drop until the next weekly reset. Again, as it doesn't drop in LFR, doing LFR won't affect your chance at drop for that week. LFR should have a loot lockout shared with other formats below mythic. You can clear the raid once per lockout, regardless of its difficulty (since you're able to change the difficulty while you're in the raid instance). An exception are raids with the raid finder difficulty enabled (Dragon Soul and later). You can talk to the raid's npc and clear the raid finder difficulty as well.
